These wool flap discs are much quicker at polishing that the sponge and bonnets that I have used in the past. With the significant increase in power going from an orbital polishing tool to the angle grinder, these get the job done much faster.
I tested them on a piece of 316 stainless. The piece of steel polished up to a high shine in a couple of minutes. There was no breaking apart of the wool or major lint coming off. I gave them five stars because I could not come up with any reason to remove a star.
This wool flap disc is sturdy. Perfect for polishing. This is a great choice for some angle grinder polishing on chrome bumpers, side mirrors and the like. I love it.
